(Full-Time Nights) Overview: The Graduate Nurse Resident (Full-Time
Nights) is responsible for delivering direct patient care within a
Cardiovascular and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role
upholds professional nursing standards while collaborating with
various departments. Candidates must possess a registered nursing
license, demonstrate physical endurance, and hold a Basic Life

the nursing process to ensure effective patient care. The Graduate
Nurse Resident is accountable for the care provided to assigned
patients and assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered
by other caregivers. Coordination of patient care with other
departments is essential, as is the maintenance of patient rights
and confidentiality. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment

RNs Unit Description: 3E is the Cardiovascular and Surgical ICU,
where we provide care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic,
vascular, general, and head/neck surgeries requiring ICU admission.
Common patient cases include: CABG and Valve Repair/Replacement
Vascular Stent and Bypass Procedures Cardiogenic Shock STEMI/NSTEMI
Radical Neck Dissection General Surgery Qualifications: Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing
program. Licensure: Candidates are responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment,
adhering to all state board of nursing regulations. Physical
Requirements: Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50
pounds Prolonged standing and walking required during each shift
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as
necessary for job duties Certifications: Basic Life Support
certification from the American Heart Association or successful
