Traffic / Roadway EIT (0–3 Years Experience) Location:
Tallahassee, FL Full-Time | Entry-Level About the Role: Seeking a
motivated and detail-oriented Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 0–3
years of experience to join a growing transportation team. This
position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of FDOT and
municipal projects, with a focus in traffic or roadway engineering,
and develop your career alongside experienced engineers and project
managers. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development of
roadway or traffic engineering plans, calculations, and design
documents. Support senior engineers in the preparation of
construction documents and technical reports. Perform design tasks
using MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, or Synchro. Conduct field
investigations and collect data for engineering analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project
delivery. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil
Engineering or related field. Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
certification required. 0–3 years of relevant experience in traffic
or roadway engineering. Strong written and verbal communication
skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage time
effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Internship or co-op
experience in transportation engineering. Proficiency or
familiarity with MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, or Synchro.
Exposure to FDOT standards and procedures. Interest in pursuing PE
