We are seeking a skilled and motivated Generator Technician to join
our team at Pearce, serving the Telecom industry. This role
involves servicing and repairing commercial generators on cell
phone towers within your region. Ideal candidates are independent,
self-starters who are open to travel and eager to enhance their
skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Maintain
generators by diagnosing and repairing issues, installing or
replacing components, and performing maintenance or upgrades on
out-of-season equipment. Conduct performance checks and regular
maintenance to ensure generator readiness, following blueprints or
design specifications for installations or repairs. Install fuel
and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls,
testing for proper operation. Respond promptly to Power/Generator
alarms; be on call 24/7 as needed, and respond swiftly to phone and
email communications. Perform work with an awareness of potential
hazards, using safety equipment and practices; attend and
participate in safety and training meetings. Qualifications: Two or
more years of experience with generator maintenance preferred, with
a minimum of one year in generator and electrical
maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes. Thorough
knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair;
knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components;
moderate computer skills. Basic knowledge of pertinent
FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations. Able to lift over 50 pounds, stoop,
bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods. Ability to
inspect and troubleshoot equipment/alarms visually and audibly.
Willingness to drive long distances and work various hours,
including overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays;
on-call duty as assigned. Ability to pass a DOT physical and comply
with OSHA Standards. At Pearce, we are committed to fair and

of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may
