Are you ready to join our team and help build a better working world?Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager on the Human Services (HHS) team, you will manage daily activities, build relationships with Human Services agencies, and drive growth and delivery. Approximately 60% of your time will involve business development, origination, and capture efforts, with 40% focused on delivering contracted work. You will oversee project delivery, participate in resource planning, and manage client and contract expectations.Key capabilities include:

• Experience with state Human Services organizations, including policy, processes, and platforms
• Knowledge of Human Services programs such as behavioral health, child welfare, childcare, and eligibility systems
• Proficiency in Program Management Office functions, project oversight, and relevant technologies
• Ability to foster collaboration and promote an inclusive environment
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management skills
• Leadership in engagement planning and execution
• Business development skills, including proposal and marketing material preparation
• Effective communication with partners and clients
• Relationship-building with key influencers for work management and new opportunities
• Sharing industry insights with EY leaders and clients
• Team management, motivation, and development skillsTo qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • At least eight years of relevant experience with proven client impact and team leadership
  • Experience working with state agencies in areas like project transformation, business modeling, strategic frameworks, resource management, innovation, change management, and process improvement
  • Expertise in behavioral health, child welfare, childcare, and eligibility systems
  • Ability to develop long-term client relationships and new business
  • Mentoring and staff development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher (preferred)The staffing model assigns resources based on geographic location, with travel up to 40% possible depending on client needs.Ideally, you'll also haveAdditional preferred qualifications or experiences can be included here.What we offerWe provide a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a salary range of $148,900 to $340,200 nationwide, and higher ranges for NYC, Washington, and California. Salaries are determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, and location.
