Job Description:
Colquitt Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director Of
Behavioral Health to join our team! ?Responsibilities:* Oversee 10
bed inpatient geropsych unit and associated intensive outpatient
program.* Responsible for human resources, financial management,
regulatory requirement adherence, and quality of care as well as
daily operation oversight.* Establish open lines of communication
for individuals with mental or emotional issues* Participate in
review treatment plans to ensure care is according to standards as
well as documented according to requirements.* Collaborate with
additional treatment providers and placement agencies* Liason for
BH services to referral sources.Qualifications:* Previous
experience in mental health (preferred not required* Registered
Nurse in Georgia* Familiarity with community mental health
resources * Excellent written and verbal communications skills*
Ability to build rapport with clients, staff, and referral
sources.* Strong leadership qualitiesJob Requirements:Minimum
EducationBachelor Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.Minimum Work
ExperienceThree to five years' experience in mental health.Required
SkillsBasic Life Support Certification (BLS)National Certification
Preferred.Required Licenses Current GA RN Licensure
