  • Medical Solutions is looking for a Med/Surg RN in GA for day shifts on a 13-week contract.
  • Unit: Labor Pool.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS, NIHSS; Strict 75 Mile Radius Rule.
    • Experience: 2 years of experience & 1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience w/o travel.
      • Schedule Information
      • Day shifts.
      • Shifts: 0645 - 12-hour shifts.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other.
      • Call Requirement: On call for low census.
      • Holidays: Rotate with Permanent Staff.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Typical nurse to patient ratio: 1:6.
        • Nurse Aides/OB tech: Yes, CNA 1:8 generally, 1:10, do get pulling 1:1 and sitters.
        • Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue.
        • Tele: Yes, monitored on different units.
        • Vents: BIPAP, CPAP, only at HS, vapotherm, Draeger.
        • OB/Neonatologist in house: Yes.
        • IV Team: None, do have PICC.
        • RT 24/7: Yes.
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes.
        • Floor specific orientation: Yes.
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: See other areas.
        • MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care and JFW.
        • ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, ED.
        • Additional Questions: Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift.
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates will do an interview with a Medical Solutions RN.
          • The notes and their profile are sent to the client, and it's confirmed by the staffing office within 20 min. There is NOT a second interview!
          • Will work labor pool, but move to 4C when open.
