TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701 Pay Information $2,552 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Job Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years; requires 2 years of experience and 1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience without travel License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Flexibility with changing assignments during the shift Job Description: - Work in a labor pool within the Med Surg unit, with potential floater responsibilities to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other areas. - Participate in a brief and efficient interview process with a focus on quick confirmation and placement, facilitated by a Medical Solutions RN. - Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aides, maintaining a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. - Provide care in a 12-hour shift rotation with an every-other-weekend schedule, sharing holiday rotations with permanent staff. - Operate under a strict mileage rule for applicants and adhere to Meditech 6.1 charting system. - Be prepared for the possible low census on-call requirements. - Wear designated Caribbean Blue scrubs. - Engage with a variety of care technologies such as BiPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draegar ventilators, and utilize resources like 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapist support. - Monitor patients via telemetry systems, occasionally across different units. 26792859EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
