Health system in southwest Georgia is seeking a full time Anesthesiologist/Critical Care physician to join their team. This position does require experience in Critical Care and offers additional support from Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs. Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. 26 weeks on/26 weeks off (typically 7 on/7off unless mutually agreed upon by anesthesiology team). Technology: New anesthesia Mindray machines, including new ultrasounds. Additionally, we have a Glideslope for emergency airways and Belmont for rapid infusers 7 OR suites; 2 endoscopy suites. ICU: 10 bed open unit; consult only; partner with pulmonology and critical care physician for daily rounds. Opportunity to precept medical students and residents. Generous student loan repayment assistance. Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage Paid house-hunting and relocation. 24-hour all-access employee gym. Physicians' lounge with meals provided. 8-9 starts a day. 700 cases a month ( 200 of those is endoscopies). OB services (750 deliveries a year). lots of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci Robots, the mako robot, etc.).
