Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Holiday coverage as needed /n• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts /n• Float to all acute care and cardio units for medical patients, or emergency department for acute care patient holds /n• 44-bed unit with 40 staff members /n• Work with CNAs at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10 /n• Telemetry monitoring available but monitored on different unit /n• Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital based on driver's license address /n• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required /n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA) /n• Caribbean Blue scrubs required /n• MEDITECH EMR system (experience preferred but not required) /n• General orientation of 1 week including EMR training /n• Floor-specific orientation of 2 days /n• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with a focus on medical-surgical patient care.
