Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Albany, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,624 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in specialty Description: Strict 75-mile radius from address on the traveler's driver's license to hospital. Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical surgical specialty is required. Nurses in this unit will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights. The hospital has 44 beds and employs 40 staff members. Nurse aides are available, with a ratio of 1:8, generally 1:10 for sitters. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred but not required. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Holidays may be needed as per the hospital's requirements. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Floating to all acute care areas is expected. General orientation lasts 1 week, which includes EMR training. Floor-specific orientation is an additional 2 days. This location has a population of approximately 80,000. It is located175 miles from Atlanta and 88 miles from Tallahassee. Housing options in the area are considered safe and clean. Cancellation policy includes a 12-hour notice every 2 weeks.
