Overview: This role focuses on delivering specialized nursing care
within an ophthalmology surgical center, adhering to established
nursing protocols while ensuring the confidentiality of patient
information. The registered nurse will collaborate with various
departments, assess the effectiveness of treatments, and comply
with the organization's healthcare standards. Essential
qualifications include a valid nursing license, CPR certification,
and a solid understanding of nursing practices and medication
impacts, alongside strong communication and emergency response

accountability for the care provided to assigned patients. Assesses
the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct
caregivers. Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other
departments. Upholds patient rights and maintains confidentiality
of patient information. Executes responsibilities in alignment with

Location: Surgery Center (Ophthalmology) City: Springfield,
Missouri Qualifications: Education: Graduation from an accredited
nursing program. Understanding of nursing principles, care
procedures, examination techniques, and treatment protocols.
Familiarity with medications, their effects, patient education,
self-care program development, and safety practices. Licensure: -
Must possess a current valid state nursing license. - A valid
driver's license is necessary for nurses involved in Home Infusion.
Experience: Not mandatory. Certifications: CPR certification
required or to be obtained within 90 days of employment. Skills,
Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficient in assisting with and
performing various medical treatments and procedures. Ability to
remain calm and effective during emergency situations. Capable of
interpreting, adapting, and applying guidelines and policies.
Effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships
with patients, staff, and the public. Basic computer skills or the
willingness to learn to access information and input clinical data.
Equipment Used: Must be able to operate equipment typically
