experience with Orthopedics Description: Travel position for a CST
First Assist. The facility is committed to the care and improvement
of human life. It is a fully-accredited healthcare facility with
over 1,100 employees and 500 physicians. The facility offers 24/7
Emergency Services including Pediatric and Senior Care ER.
Additionally, it features specialized centers for Bariatrics,
Behavioral Health, Cancer, Heart & Vascular, Orthopedic care, and
more. The surgical department includes 6 OR rooms with a patient
ratio of 1:1. Unit staffing consists of 1 OR RN and 1 Scrub Tech
per room. Equipment varies based on the procedures being performed.
Documentation is maintained on paper. Shifts are 10 hours with
potential for overtime. There is no call, nights, weekends, or
holidays required. Floating policy is not applicable. The unit
specializes in Hand, Foot & Ankle, Sports Medicine, Total Joint
Replacement Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Pain Procedures. Certified
Surgical Tech certification may be waived with appropriate
experience. The center provides scrubs as required attire. The
facility is growing and offers all orthopedic and spine surgeries.
