Albany, Georgia, 31701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

License: Yes Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, CPI
Must-Have: Meditech 6.15 experience; Fast track experience
preferred; 5 years in a Level 1 Trauma Facility preferred.
Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specialized
in Emergency Room care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years
of ER experience in an Acute Care setting. COVID immunization is
not required; however, individuals not vaccinated must be willing
to be tested weekly. Candidates will take an online Cardiac Rhythms
test and the ESI Triage Exam during orientation. Unit consists of
25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, and 2 trauma bays.
Patient volume is approximately 140 visits per day. The RN will
work with a dedicated triage nurse and a four-bed behavioral
lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. Nurses are
responsible for their own lab draws and IV starts. There is a
charge nurse on every shift to oversee operations. The Emergency
Room supports a range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics,
including trauma and neuro cases. The facility is a designated CVA
center. Weekend requirements will be every 3-4 weekends and
holidays every other. Current ratios in the ER are 1 to 4. Central
monitoring techs are available, with respiratory therapy being
accessible 24/7. Candidates should preferably have experience with
triage systems and Alaris pumps. The role requires flexibility and
a commitment to patient care in a fast-paced environment. 5
