This Florida nursing job offers professional growth, competitive pay, and the chance to experience Tallahassee’s vibrant healthcare community./n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing/n - Location: Tallahassee, FL 32308 (Florida healthcare jobs)/n - Unit: Labor & Delivery / Antenatal (High Risk Unit)/n - Facility Size: 772 beds/n - Unit Features: 19 labor rooms, 12 antepartum rooms, 4 recovery rooms, 8 triage rooms, 3 OR suites, ~4000 deliveries annually/n - Trauma Level: Level 2/n - Shifts: 12-hour day shifts/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025, End: 2/28/2026)/n - Extra Shift Requirement: Must pick up one extra shift per 4-week schedule cycle/n - On Call: Not required/n - Float: Not required/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience/n - At least 2 years in Labor & Delivery, LDRP, or Mother Baby nursing roles/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)/n - Certifications: AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent)/n - Strong ECG interpretation skills/n - Immediate newborn care experience/n - Ability to circulate and recover C-sections/n /n/nL&D RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit/n - Monitor fetal and maternal status, interpret ECGs, and respond to obstetric emergencies/n - Provide immediate newborn care and support mothers throughout labor, delivery, and recovery/n - Circulate and recover C-sections as needed/n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards/n - Pick up one extra shift per 4-week schedule cycle/n /n Apply now to join our healthcare team in Tallahassee, Florida, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
