Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit, requiring an AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg unit (Floor 1) - Patient population includes adult medical and surgical cases - Night shift from 19:00-07:00 - Assignment spans 8 weeks - Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients - Return-to-Orientation (RTO) requests must be less than 1 week - Assignment requires night shift availability throughout duration - Only candidates with a consistent work history and no significant recent gaps will be considered /n /n Requirements/n - Active AL or compact RN license required - Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required - No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months - Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years - No local travelers within a 50-mile radius permitted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-665083.
