Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts in a 19-suite operating room • Handle 55-60 cases per day, approximately 1000 cases per month • Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital address on driver's license • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system • Scrubs provided by facility • Weekend requirement approximately once per quarter • Call requirement varies - general on average every 7th weekend, no weekday call • Specialty teams (ortho/neuro and cardio/thoracic) take call every night • 30-minute call response time required • Must rotate holidays with permanent staff and maintain flexibility • One week floor-specific orientation provided • Scrubbing not required but preferred for RNs • Minimum 2-3 years of operating room experience required • Must demonstrate basic competency in almost every service • Handle full service cases except major pediatrics, transplants, and C-sections • Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks • BSN not required • Must be reliable with good attendance and punctuality Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a full-service medical center with a comprehensive 19-suite operating room department.
