Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM • Maintain 1:6 nurse to patient ratio typically • Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed • Every other weekend requirement • On-call during low census periods • Rotate holidays with permanent staff • Must be flexible with changing assignments during shifts • Caribbean blue scrubs required • Work with telemetry monitoring on different units • Experience with BIPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators • Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system • 2 years of experience with 1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience without travel required • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS • BSN degree not required • Must reside within 75-mile radius of facility • Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks • Interview process with Medical Solutions RN required Facility: This major healthcare system operates two campuses including a 483-bed main campus and a 124-bed north campus, providing comprehensive acute care services to the region.
