Job Summary and Qualifications The Lead Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary/pulmonary care services in routine, clinical, and emergency settings according to specific physician orders, department policies and procedures providing leadership to the staff. In the absence of the Director of Respiratory Therapy provides day to day leadership to the department, and performs a variety of management duties. Supports the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care through activities focusing on departmental goals and objectives. What qualifications you will need: - Associate Degree in Respiratory Care / Therapy - RRT - State Registered Respiratory Therapist - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in respiratory care - BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date HCA Florida Capital Hospital is your one-stop solution for all your healthcare needs.
