Job Description:
HCA Florida Capital Hospital invites applications for the
position of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). As an integral
part of our medical services team, your role focuses on providing
respiratory care services under the supervision of the dedicated
healthcare professionals. With our state-of-the-art facilities, you
will have the opportunity to work alongside leaders in pulmonary
medicine using the latest technologies and treatment practices.
This role requires a caring individual who can effectively support
patient breathing and cardiopulmonary function. Assess and treat
patient with respiratory conditions. Perform diagnostic tests such
as evaluating lung capacity. Manage ventilators and artificial
airway devices for patients who cannot breathe normally on their
own. Respond to emergency situations and urgent calls for care.
Educate patients and families on lung health and disease
prevention. Regularly evaluate and document patient progress.
Proficiency in handling respiratory care equipment, including
ventilators and oxygen units. Ability to assess patient conditions
and implement appropriate treatments. Strong interpersonal skills
for communicating with patients and healthcare teams. Experience
with electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified as a Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC). Active licensure in the state of Florida.
