Job Description:

An exciting opportunity awaits a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist (non-structural) to join a patient-centered healthcare organization in Southern Alabama. This new, hospital-employed solo position offers the chance to build and lead a growing interventional program in a supportive environment backed by a Chest-Pain Accredited facility.

Position Highlights

• Lead a new and growing cardiology program with strong administrative support

• Opportunity to help shape the construction and launch of a brand-new cath lab

• Manageable 10 days of call per month, including only one weekend

• Access to Advanced Practice Practitioner support as the practice expands

• Ideal for a motivated, independent physician comfortable in a solo setting

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation at or above MGMA median

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified (or Eligible) in Interventional Cardiology

• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred

• Eligible for or active Alabama medical license

• Strong leadership mindset and passion for program development
