With competitive pay and benefits, National Beef could be your next career move!Competitive wages and benefits:Weekly payAdvancement Opportunities401(k) with company matchPaid VacationHealth/Dental/VisionPaid life and disabilityTuition Reimbursement Responsibilities2nd Shift General Supervisor Key Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Promote a Safe Work EnvironmentAssist Shift Superintendent in directing, controlling and coordinating all aspects of production area to maximize efficiencies and long and short term profitabilityPromote and develop good relationships and high morale among production employees and supervisorsAssist and guide supervisors through the Safety investigation/reporting processMaintain a good working relationship between the area departments and other Company departments as well as USDADirect daily operations to exceed daily production goalsUnderstand and adhere to product and customer specifications and expectationsMaintain High Food Safety and Food Quality Standards and adhere to all Food Safety RegulationsUnderstand and adhere to the following Programs:Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs)Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCPs)Develop and Train management staffIdentify and resolve process issues as they ariseAssume responsibilities of General Superintendent in their absenceManage Daily and Weekly ReportingOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.QualificationsQualified Candidates for the 2nd Shift General Supervisor position should possess the following:Minimum 5 years of experience in a beef plant environmentBasic Computer skillsStaff management experienceAbility to work successfully in both a team environment and independentlyProven leadership experience in a team environment.
