Each location listed may or may not have a current vacant position.Relocation/Recruitment Incentives are not authorized.Staff Professional Mental Health Counselor assigned to Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) or Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (MHRRTP)/Domiciliary. Provides counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families in collaboration with multidisciplinary mental health staff to serve Veterans as needed or assigned.2. Provides group counseling services in collaboration with multidisciplinary mental health staff for all Veterans seeking mental health treatment.3.Consults with Medical Center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues. 4. Willingly accepts additional and special assignments that are necessary to meet program goals or Veteran needs.5. Completes all clinical charting and documentation required by the Medical Center or healthcare system in a timely and accurate manner, as appropriate.6. Provides case management services to assist Veteran patients to gain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services.Other Significant Responsibilities (5% time)1. Serves on mental health committees or task forces. 2. Represents the Medical Center at professional/program community group/events and committees.3. A doctoral degree in mental health counseling may not be substituted for the master's degree in mental health counseling. CACREP defines the date when graduates are considered to have graduated from a CACREP accredited program.
