SUMMARY: This position is responsible for daily plant accounting
functions, which may include live and plant operations. Work
activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks,
setting priorities, evaluating results, and the ability to work
independently and with a diversified group. This includes verifying
and checking documents for reasonableness and also requires
interaction with supervisors and other plant management. This list
is not all inclusive and there may be other duties as assigned.
Applicant will be expected to cross-train in all areas of the
office to provide vacation and sick coverage.
Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as
mathematics, grammar, office equipment and business practices.
Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a
vocational school or other related experience.
Experience: 3+ years of general office experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office and Excel
experience required. SAP and Tyson1 experience a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills.
Special Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently
or in teams.
