Do you have Branch Banking or Inside Sales experience? Do you provide excellent customer service and pay attention to details? If you live in AL, the time difference is wonderful as working until 5-5:30pm in GA means you are headed home at 4-4:30pm CST.

Membership Relationship Specialist

Day ends between 5-5:30pm after the numbers balance and closing procedures are completed
This is an hourly position (non-exempt)

Work in Blakely, GA in a busy office where recognition is easily achieved
The ATM here is virtual so there are no drive up responsibilities as a teller

The primary function of all team members at this banking institution is to provide outstanding service to members by promoting and selling services and products to new and existing members and by fully using job-relevant technical skills, maintaining/updates technical skills and seeking to enhance service skills. All positions require the ability to make decisions within established guidelines, the willingness to work within a sales environment, -and the ability to be a team player in an organization that values the spirit of teamwork.

Responsible for administering the operational sales and service efforts of the branch by assisting members with opening a wide -variety of products and services. Maintains the high level of service, trust, accountability, and respect expected as part of the team.

a. Represents us in a courteous and professional manner by greeting members in person or by phone. Assists Sales and Service Manager in seeking out and planning community events representing us.
b. Adheres to Member Identification Program (MIP) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) procedures. Prepares -Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) as needed.
c. Has an understanding of lending and effectively counsels members on loan products that meet their needs and -effectively closes loans with members adhering to proper compliance and regulation procedures.
d. Answers advanced questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, -securing answers, and reporting results to the inquiring party. Resolves member account problems. Takes
stop payment and wire transfer orders.
e. Receives and directs members and telephone calls. Responds to inquiries and questions if possible or directs -them as necessary.
f. Performs file maintenance and account changes as needed.
g. Seeks opportunities and prepares presentation to deliver to select employee groups and potential member -groups.
h. Maintains and projects our favorable reputation by maintaining the privacy of all personal member -information.
i. Assists members with setting up electronic services.
j. Understands and successfully explains NCUA share insurance coverage.
k.. Meets or exceeds established sales and service goals set by management.
l. -Perform outbound calls to members as a proactive approach to deepening member's relationships

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with Member Service Specialist and Sales and Service Manager.
a. Cross trains and mentors Member Service Specialists. Assists team members as needed and/or as directed by management.
b. Assists Sales and Service Manager with sales, coaching and observations.
c. Keeps Sales and Service Manager informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.
d. Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
e. Attends meetings as required.
f. Acts as second in command when Sales and Service Manager is out of the office.

High school or GED.
Valid driver's license.

Proven sales record
Knowledge of our products, operations and services, once trained.
Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements.
Basic knowledge of Individual Retirement Account (IRA) regulations.
Knowledge of NCUA insured funds.
Advanced knowledge of consumer and business account structuring.

At least 5 years related experience, whether in banking or sales.

Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment.
Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
