Job Description
Danfoss Turbcor Global Headquarters is looking for an energetic,
sociable Associate Product Manager to join our team. You will work
under the guidance of the product manager in a cross functional
role to define the product strategy and development programs needed
to ensure the profitable growth of the company. The Associate
Product Manager will help assess the market needs, opportunities,
and risks as well as provide sales and marketing support to promote
product benefits and features. This is a fully onsite position at
our facility in Tallahassee, FL.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities:
o Be an advocate for Turbocor's new and existing products
o Collects Voice of the Customer (VOC) and market data to help with
identifying and prioritizing projects to include in the product
development roadmap as well as in development of project
specifications
o Be part of cross functional project teams representing Sales &
Marketing for the purpose of implementing product improvements or
releasing new product developments
o Assist in market validation of new products or significant
product changes
o Develops and maintains annual product pricing guides according to
established pricing strategy
o Contributes to the production of sales and marketing collateral,
which includes brochures, sales tools, user's guides, parts
manuals, training material
o Coordinate and facilitate the customer visits at Tallahassee
facility
o Support product launch activities and marketing campaigns.
o Review and help in facilitation of the product lifecycle process
for all finished good items
o Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly
workplace.
o Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy,
procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer
satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental
well-being.
o Other duties as required
Background & Skills
Education and/or Experience
o A candidate will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
or combination of other technical degree and experience.
o Good knowledge of key IT tools (MS Office, SAP - Business
Intelligence Warehouse)
o Relevant work experience on products which are systems having
integration of software, electrical or electro-mechanical
elements.
Preferred Qualifications:
o 3-5 Years of experience specifically with HVAC Systems
o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively
with a team
o Global mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently
communicate across all levels in the organization.
o Good time management and project management skills to organize
and plan effectively in developing effective systems and
processes.
