Job Description Job Description Family Pastor - Restoration Place Position Overview Restoration Place seeks a dynamic, Christ-centered Family Pastor to join the ministry team. This role focuses on nurturing the spiritual growth of families in the congregation and community, creating an environment where faith flourishes across generations. The Family Pastor will provide strategic leadership and pastoral care to families, overseeing ministries from birth through college while equipping parents as the primary spiritual influencers in the children's lives. This role involves providing spiritual guidance and support to the church, its members, staff, and the community. Restoration Place has a Youth Pastor, Elementary and Nursery Director who will report directly to the Family Pastor. This position will report to the Executive Pastor with a dotted line report to the Senior Pastor. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive family ministry strategy that aligns with the church's vision Provide a consistent pastoral presence for church families while developing ministry strategies that focus on the unique needs of parents and the children Oversee and coordinate children's and youth programs, including Sunday services, special events, and family-focused activities Partner with the pastoral team to integrate family ministry strategies across all church programs Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer teams for family, children's, and youth ministries Provide pastoral counseling and support for families navigating various life stages Coordinate with adult discipleship leaders to ensure parents are equipped to lead their children spiritually Plan and execute family-oriented events, retreats, and community outreach initiatives Qualifications Strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Theology, or related field; Seminary degree preferred Minimum 2 years experience in ministry or related position Demonstrated leadership ability in family ministry contexts Deep understanding of children's spiritual, emotional, and social development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and administrative abilities Heart for discipleship and family-centered ministry Alignment with Restoration Place's vision and values Compensation Competitive salary range commensurate with experience (estimate $45-50k) Benefits package Professional development opportunities Paid time off and holidays How to Apply Qualified candidates should submit: Resume/CV Cover letter expressing your vision for family ministry.
